1979.
A lot has happened between 1979 to 2016, that could make one feel really old very quickly. Anyhoo last Tuesday I, and mostly comedians and the few people who were still hanging around at The Comedy Store at 12 am on a Tuesday, witnessed greatness return.
In between performances, and selling numerous porsches & VW’s for $22 million dollars, Jerry Seinfeld blessed The Comedy Store with his presence for the first time since 1979.
It was an electric atmosphere (unless you were one of the people sitting 10 feet away from him yelling your questions) and felt as big as I imagine Seinfeld’s wallet to be.
The Comedy Store is the best place in L.A. It’s capturing magic in a bottle at the moment. If you haven’t gone recently, I highly recommend going.
